We have taken on an exciting new initiate this year in Mount Anville Primary School, working towards receiving a Gaelbhratach next year.
'The goal of the Gaelbhratach scheme is to inspire the use of Irish, not only within the classroom, but also as a spoken language of the school community. Emphasis is placed upon communicative Irish and the importance of language awareness as a means of learning for children in particular.'
Our Captaein Gaelbhratch, made up from students from 4th - 6th Class, will be organising and overseeing many activities and events trí mheán na Gaeilge throughout the year!
