Beginning of the School Year Celebration
We were delighted to gather in Croí na Scoile to mark the beginning of a new school year. This year, our focus is on the goal of Community, and together we celebrated the values that guide us as a school.
As part of the celebration, our 6th Class girls brought forward gifts symbolising each of the five goals we strive to live by: Faith, Character, Intellect, Social Awareness, and this year’s special focus, Community.
A warm welcome was extended to all our new students. Each of our Junior Infants was welcomed by name, along with the girls who have joined us at other class levels. We also welcomed our new teachers, Ms. McHugh and Ms. Earls, who join our school community this year.
This week is also a very special and emotional one as we prepare to say goodbye to Mrs. Naughton, who will officially retire on Friday, 26th September. While we will be very sad to see her go, we wish her every happiness as she begins this new chapter in her life.
We look forward to a happy, exciting, and productive year of learning ahead!
