Celebrating the Graduation of the Class of 2026

Our Sixth Class pupils marked the end of their primary school journey with a beautiful and heartfelt Graduation Prayer Service, celebrating their wonderful years at Mount Anville Primary School. They were joined by their teachers Ms Barnes, Ms Cahalane and Ms Johnston and also by Ms Fagan.

The celebration began in song and with a welcome from Ms. Munro, who encouraged the girls to reflect on their time in school with gratitude, hope and excitement for the future.

Throughout the service, the girls presented meaningful symbols representing their years in Mount Anville, including their Junior Infant jumper, Sixth Class hoodie, school books, iPad, sporting equipment, musical script, a plant from the school garden and the Sacred Heart picture. These symbols reflected the many friendships, achievements, experiences and memories they have made along the way.

The prayer service included readings from St. Paul, beautiful piano music from Ms Mc Cabe and the moving Ceremony of Light, where the Class of 2026 received the candles of Wisdom, Love, Faith and Hope. A special class candle was also lit and placed on the Sacred Heart Altar as a lasting reminder that the girls will always remain part of the Mount Anville community.

Following blessings for the pupils, their families and the entire school community, Ms. Munro presented each student with her Graduation Certificate, marking the successful completion of primary school. The celebration concluded with the inspiring song This Is Me.

We congratulate the Class of 2026 on all they have achieved and thank them for the joy, kindness and spirit they have brought to our school. We wish each of them every happiness and success as they begin this exciting new chapter in secondary school. They will always be part of the Mount Anville family.
