Mount Anville Primary School has a long standing choral tradition and our choir is made up of Fifth and Sixth Classes. The choir rehearses twice a week and explores a wide range of repertoire. They perform regularly at school masses, Christmas celebrations, First Communion and Confirmation ceremonies as well as at various school events throughout the year. They also participate in the National Children’s Choir which takes place every second year and involves singing with a professional orchestra in the National Basketball Arena. Some students will then get the chance to perform in the National Concert Hall. In the past, our choir has also performed for our local community, for other schools in the Cór Fhéile and in the Wesley Feis.
