Principal's Welcome

Capture.PNGFáilte go Scoil Cnoc Ainbhil! Here in Mount Anville we pride ourselves in providing a happy, holistic and dynamic learning environment for all of our pupils. We are supported by an effective and dedicated Board of Management and Parents Council. Together with parents and guardians we work to provide the best educational experience possible for each of our girls.

Mount Anville Primary school is part of the Sacred Heart Network of schools who uphold a shared ethos through the promotion of the five key goals of Faith, Character, Social Justice, Community and Intellect. This ethos sets us apart from other schools and is embedded in the culture and daily life of our school community. It is based on mutual respect and the importance of valuing each other's unique talents and potential. As principal, it is my privilege to lead a dedicated, professional and dynamic staff who ensure all pupils receive the highest standards of learning and teaching. Pupils are offered a broad, yet balanced curriculum, rich in learning experiences to provide them with the opportunities to experience success across a wide range of subject areas. We also offer a wide range of extracurricular activities to cater for the varied interests of the pupils.

My vision for the school is to continue the legacy and reputation of this Sacred Heart School, ensuring it is progressive, current and responding to the needs of our pupil cohort. We are currently in the consultation process with all our stakeholders to set out a five-year Strategic Plan that will road map the way forward for this wonderful school. This new website marks the beginning of a new approach to improve communications. My hope is that all who visit can share in our celebrations and achievements, getting a sense of who we are and how we play an important role in the wider community.

Le gach dea-ghuí,

Angela Munro
