Gaelic
Our Gaelic football team school team trains before school and had wonderful success last year reaching the semi final of the Cumann na mBunscoil Dublin league.
Camogie
Camogie girls from 5th and 6th Class have training every Tuesday morning at 8am. Lots of the parents come to help with training and we are very grateful to them.
Our camogie team had an incredible season this year, winning the Cumann na mbunscol final in Croke Park!

Tennis
Tennis coaching, delivered by Colm Murphy (Tennis Ireland Development Coach) and his team, is available to girls from Senior Infants to Sixth Class on Wednesday afternoons throughout the school year. Senior Infant classes are delivered indoor in the School, whilst First to Sixth class avail of the facilities at Deerpark Tennis Club.
Our School tennis teams did us all very proud recently in the Leinster School Tennis League. They played teams as far away as Kilkenny and Carlow!!!
Hockey
Mount Anville girls play their school hockey in the secondary school. The season starts in September and runs until April. The girls trained hard all year and came runners up in the B School’s Final to a very strong Kill of The Grange team in Three Rock Rovers on 24th March 23.
Athletics
A huge well done to our Athletics team who represented Mount Anville Primary School in the Cumann na mBunscol Athletics Competition in UCD today. We had great success, bringing home a bronze medal for the shotput, a silver medal for the long jump and our under 14 relay team also won a bronze medal! Well done girls!
Golf
Our MAPS Golf team came second in The Castle Schools Cup 2023!
Basketball
Coach P runs Basketball as an after school activity every Tuesday and Thursday, and the girls get the opportunity to play matches too. See List of afterschool activities for more details.
