Gaelic
Our Gaelic football team, led by Ms.Barnes and Ms.Hegarty trains before school and had wonderful success this year reaching the final of the Cumann na mBunscoil Dublin league in Croke Park. Despite a strong performance, they were narrowly defeated by Gaelscoil Eiscir Riada, with a final score of 2-7 to 2-5.
Camogie
Our Camogie season will be starting soon! Lots of the parents come to help with training and we are very grateful to them.
Tennis
Tennis coaching, delivered by Colm Murphy (Tennis Ireland Development Coach) and his team, is available to girls from Senior Infants to Sixth Class on Wednesday afternoons throughout the school year. Senior Infant classes are delivered indoor in the School, whilst First to Sixth class avail of the facilities at Deerpark Tennis Club.
Hockey
Mount Anville girls play their school hockey in the secondary school. The season starts in September and runs until April.
Soccer
Girls from 4th - 6th class started soccer sessions in September. They will be participating in a local schools league and a blitz in Wayside this term.
Swimming
Our swimming team participated at the Leinster Minor Schools in January.
They had lots of PBs (personal bests), a placement (Bronze for Julianne in the U11 Breaststroke) and our relay team achieved 4th place in the Medley relay and 9th place in the Freestyle Relay in very competitive events.
Julieanne, Lola and Lily have qualified in each of their individual events for the Irish Minor Championships. We will also have the relay team participating in both the Freestyle and Medley relays at the Irish Minor Championships on 30th March.
Golf
Our MAPS Golf team came second in The Castle Schools Cup 2023!
Basketball
Coach P runs Basketball as an after school activity every Tuesday and Thursday, and the girls get the opportunity to play matches too. See List of afterschool activities for more details.
